All testing was at 22.22 Celsius (72 degrees Fahrenheit) ambient room temperature. With the Flirc case, the hottest it got was 64 Celsius. During the stress test, it kept the Pi 9.84 degrees Celsius cooler! Without the Flirc case, it got close to the throttling threshold, topping out at 75 Celsius. You can look at my charts, but at idle the Flirc case kept the Pi 7.7 degrees Celsius cooler on average. I was not dissapointed! I ran some thermal testing both at idle and using a stress test, and the Flirc case helped considerably with both. Fanless is nice for noise and dust, so as long as the thermals work out it is preferable for me. I found a couple people who tesed with the Raspberry Pi 4 and had good thermal results, so decided to try it out. The Flirc cases are well reviewed for the other models, and well liked on forums as well. There weren't as many options as for the Pi 3, and I couldn't find many that were easy to assemble and even fewer fanless. I spent way too long looking at cases for the Raspberry Pi 4, worried about the heat and throttling. We know you will love the attention to detail we put in throughout the case.
